FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

Like the other models from Guild's imported Newark Series, the X-350 Stratford takes its design cues from the X-350 Stratford of the 1950s and early 1960s. It's not a true reissue, but still looks the part. Introduced in 2020, the X-350 is a modernized, reboot that uses contemporary controls in place of the original's push-button selector switches. The 3-way toggle works in the normal way for the bridge and neck pickups. If a player wants the middle pickup in the mix, the volume control for that pickup is simply turned up to the desired level. Conversely, if only the middle pickup is desired, the volume controls for the bridge and neck pickups are turned all the way down. It's a little different, but effective.
