FACTOIDS & TRIVIA
In 1969, Ampeg unleashed its 300 watt SVT amp. A year later, the V-4B was introduced. At 120 watts, it filled a niche between the B-25B and the SVT. Its folded horn enclosure sounds great and is best suited to large venues. The V-4B was such an enduring bass amp that Ampeg reissued the amp, but with a choice of modern style speaker cabinets instead of a folded horn design cab.
