FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

The Skyhawk started its life as the “Nighthawk” in 1983 with the name change taking place in January 1984. It's very interesting to note that the neck on the guitar shown here is dated September 1983 meaning it was originally slated for Nighthawk production. The body, however, is dated from the fourth month of Skyhawk production (April 1984). I have also seen a dozen or so Skyhawks with late 1983 bodies and 1984 necks. The one question that hasn't been answered is -- are there any Skyhawks out there with both necks and bodies dated from 1983?
