FACTOIDS & TRIVIA
After Guild's electric guitar production was moved to Korea, the Starfire IV was reissued in 2013 as a '60s inspired model. Like Guild's other Korean-made electric guitars, the Starfire IV has many visual cues of its counterpart from the 1960s, but lacks vintage accurate details. This is a very early example made in 2012 before the model was officially introduced. It has a floating rosewood bridge and rosewood fingerboard while later models had a pinned ebony bridge and ebony fingerboard. In addition, the early cases were made by TKL in Canada while later ones were made by another company in China.
