FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

In 2023, a special run of the Newark Street Starfire III model was made using a maple body instead of mahogany and DeArmond Dynasonic pickups instead of LB-1 mini-humbuckers. It was given a Dark Emerald finish that is very similar to the original Emerald Green from the early 1960s. Interestingly, in 2023 Guild switched to a more vintage accurate metal switch tip in place of the horrible orange "aged" plastic tip.
