FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

There has been a renewed interest in the Mustang since many alternative rock bands have been using them. Fenders were made in Fullerton, California from 1948 to 1984. Today, most Fenders, including the reissue Mustang, are made outside of the U.S. The Mustang pictured is finished in the uncommon and highly sought Daphne Blue color and has typical characteristics for Mustangs made from late 1966 onward. These include the second style headstock shape that was introduced in September 1965, 4 patent number plus 1 DES number headstock decal, and a patent number tailpiece.
