This ASAT III is a fraternal twin to the black 1990 ASAT III with the main
difference being that this guitar has a standard ASAT fingerboard
radius of 7.5 inches. Production of this model was
quite low, and G&L researcher Paul Bechtoldt estimates that
less than
150 made. In 1995, BBE reissued the ASAT III which remained in
production
until 1998.
