Here's a Skyhawk Signature with a rosewood fingerboard. Of
real interest is the flat sawn body. Most G&Ls have
rift sawn bodies, but quite a few were made with flat sawn
spreads. Often, the flat sawn bodies produce a relatively
heavy guitar. Also, as with the 1st style models, the
different pickup positions were retained on the 2nd style Skyhawk
and S-500.
