FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

The CE-100D (D denotes dual pickups) shown here is fitted with an optional Guild Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. It also has a 5-piece maple neck that was used on some models, such as the X-175 and Starfire IV, from 1977 to 1979. For some reason (perhaps the combination of metal bridge and Bigsby or simply microphonic pickups), this guitar was very prone to feedback making it diffult to use at anything above bedroom volume.
