FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

The 6120-59QM Nashville is a limited edition model based on the 6120-59LTV (now called the 6120T-59 Vintage Select Edition) with the main difference being the quilted maple top and addition of black purfling on the sides of the body. As with most Gretsch "reissues", the 59LTV and 59QM are not entirely accurate and should be considered models "inspired by" the originals. In this case, the inspiration came from the late 1959 and early 1960 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins model, especially the figured top examples from 1960. The 6120-59QM models were built in 2014 and introduced at the Winter NAMM show in January 2015. The model was limited to 100 units.
