FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

The folks who run BadAssBassPlayers.com (BABP) had a good relationship with G&L and G&L agreed to build three limited edition basses just for BABP. The first was an L-2000, the second was an L-2500, and the third was an L-1000. The BABP L-1000 Limited Edition stunned G&L bass enthusiasts since the company rebuffed many requests to re-introduce the bass since the model's demise in 1993. While not a true reissue, the BABP L-1000 has characteristics from the early G&L days as well as some new features found on modern G&L guitars and basses.
